DOMINION

And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honoured Him that liveth forever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation.”

DANIEL 4:34

“Eternal dominion belongs to God alone, but in Genesis God blessed man and gave him two gifts. He gave man the gift of dominion, the right to reign as a king under the Lordship of Jesus Christ to subdue the earth, and the gift of the seed system, to plant, grow, and harvest. God called you, if you are His child, to be an overcomer in this life. “Calling” means that God personally engraved an invitation to you to come and enjoy the salvation provided by His Son; and personally signed the invitation, “Almighty God” with an R.S.V.P. requested. According to the dictionary, “dominion” is the supreme authority, rule or control. Another meaning for “dominion” is “it is the territory under the control of one ruler or government. “Dominion” in the Greek is the word “kratos” meaning perfect or complete force, strength, and might. It is, particularly, the manifested power or rule as belongs to the Creator. God Almighty, the Creator of all is still in charge of the total universe. Genesis 1:28 declares, “And God blessed them, and God aid unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.” Mankind has been plentiful in replenishing the earth, yet believers have done little to subdue the earth and walk in dominion over it. Jesus stripped Satan of all power and authority at Calvary; therefore Satan has no power that is not given to him by a human being. Don’t give him your authority and dominion to reign over you. Take your rightful place “in Christ” and put the devil in his place in the dust under your feet. Man is given a choice of redemption; while Satan will, one day soon, be put under God’s feet forever. Christ, the human sacrifice of holy giving, made possible a way for man to be redeemed. As Champion of the Universe with a crimson-red victor belt (vesture), Jesus Christ, at the battle of the Ages, fought the devil on his own stolen territory and won hands down! Christ’s resurrection and ascent into heaven validated forever His victory, which He has given to every believer that will walk in it. Now, war is still being waged by the forces of evil, but the conflict involves only the final skirmishes prior to the Lord’s return when all His enemies will be put under His feet. The believer has been given the right and privilege by God Almighty to have dominion, the right to reign as a king, in this earth; and he has been commanded by the Lord to put all of His enemies under His feet. But this Man (Jesus), after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God; from henceforth expecting till His enemies be made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever them that are sanctified” (Hebrews 10:12-14). Jesus is expecting His Body, the Body of Christ [He is the Head, the believers are His Body with the feet]…He is expecting believers to make His enemies His footstool. He has called all believers to be a nation of priests and kings unto Him under His Lordship.” … “The believer must stand on God’s Word to show Satan, one more time, that he is never going to take God’s place on the Throne of Heaven.” NEVER!
“God has given us dominion with authority over all the power of the enemy. A believer must take every speculation and every lofty thought in his mind that has raised up against the knowledge of God and cast it down, taking every though captive to the obedience of Christ. When the believer takes his authority over evil, it will change his own world, and then affect others.” …. “Get up out of the dust” (of your evil circumstances) “shake yourself, and walk in the power of the Holy Ghost that God has given you! Christ died for you! He gave you the written Word. He has sent the Holy Ghost to live in you, to teach you, and to give you all power over the enemy. God has given you a place of being over all things. He has given you the Holy Ghost who has all power. What else could you need? It is easy to blame”….
